A popular antique design with features very current in the market place with the difference being this piece is hand carved and cabinet constructed from swietenia mahogany supplied by sustainable government controlled plantations.
Unlike many reproductions we have taken care to retain the delicate detail of fine antiques, avoiding the high street habit of over 'chunky' elements. Fine antiques are all about finesse which, is well reflected in this piece featuring ball and claw foot
clamshell designs and rope carved detail.
Even the glass is hand rolled and of course the finish is hand applied with the use of two complimentary finishes, totalling 59 processes all traditionally applied. This gives an incredibly opulent look as opposed to the commonplace black matt paint and wax application. |
